Pauline Taylor BSc
(Soc. Sc.) MNSPH HBCE I am a full member of the National Society of Professional Hypnotherapists. I completed my clinical hypnotherapy training in 2003 with the Scottish School of Hypnotherapy. My first experience with hypnotherapy was twenty-eight years ago when my dentist used hypnosis with me during dental treatment. After this I used hypnosis at various times in my life (even having surgery under hypnosis) until I eventually decided to become a hypnotherapist myself over 15 years ago. I trained with the creator of the 'Hypnosis for Fertility' Program, Board Certified Hypnotherapist Lynsi Eastburn, based in America, in 2007. I am one of only two people trained in this method practising in Scotland. Lynsi Eastburn has published a book "It's Conceivable - Hypnosis for Fertility" which is a truly inspiring read for any woman wishing to conceive. A copy of this book is given free of charge to anyone coming to see me. In the past eleven years I have worked with women who wished to become pregnant naturally, women who were undergoing assisted conception (IVF etc.) and also women with secondary infertility. This work has resulted in many pregnancies. My own two children were born after eight years of "trying to get pregnant" and so I have welcomed the opportunity to help any woman who has fertility issues achieve their dream. I am also a certified HypnoBirthing® practitioner running a busy and successful practice and regularly have mothers in my HypnoBirthing classes who have initially come to see me with fertility issues. I am based in Edinburgh, near to the Royal Infirmary at Little France, where I see women from many areas of Scotland and the North of England and even Northern Ireland, as well as Edinburgh and the Lothians.
